Thank you for your interest in becoming a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) for Camp Indigo's 2026 season! Please read the following information carefully before submitting your application. About the CIT Opportunity!
Camp Indigo’s Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is a leadership opportunity for returning campers ages 15–17 who want to help create safe, joyful, affirming camp experiences for younger trans and gender-expansive youth. CITs are not just “older campers,” they are emerging leaders who support counselors, model inclusive behavior, and help build the community care that makes Camp Indigo special.
The program is designed for teens who are excited to grow their leadership skills while staying rooted in trans joy, mutual respect, and collective responsibility.
