Job Description-

Ciena Optical Transport Engineer installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots Ciena 6500 Series and other DWDM optical transport platforms. An expert on Ciena 6500, and a plus if experience on Infinera GX Series G30/G40 ( now Nokia ) transport equipment. This role involves physical installation (rack and stack) ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards like GR-1275, fiber patching, testing, and commissioning, requiring a minimum of 3 - 5+ years of experience with optical networking equipment and extensive travel.



Key Responsibilities-

• Installation & Commissioning: Performing "rack and stack, " cabling, and provisioning of Ciena 6500 Series and other transport equipment.
