Our client Knowsley borough council is looking for a Children's Social Worker to join their Children looked after team.

About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic Children Looked After team, managing a varied caseload that includes:

Children subject to care proceedings
Children in care (LAC)
Care planning, permanence, and pathway planning
Preparing reports and attending court
Working collaboratively with legal services and partner agenciesThis role offers a great opportunity to engage in purposeful, child-centred practice with a focus on achieving stability and positive outcomes for children.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
Experience in Children Looked After and court proceedings
Strong assessment, planning, and court report writing skills
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency setting
