The Sports, Education and Charities team is an exciting and dynamic team supporting a broad range of clients regionally and nationally across all three sectors. The team works on a range of matters, from day‑to‑day legal advice to strategically important projects including mergers, collaborations and restructures.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Experience in charity law.
• Experience and good working knowledge of:
  • The legal structures of charities and not‑for‑profit organisations.
  • The role of the Charity Commission.
  • Constitutional, regulatory and governance issues.
  • Mergers and restructuring.
  • Fundraising.
  • Trading and commercial agreements.
• Excellent people and client management skills.
• 5+ years PQE as a charities lawyer with strong technical ability.
