Job Summary:
The Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients, their families, and hospital personnel in cooperation with others, addressing spiritual needs which surface relative to accidents, illness, crisis, and death. Individuals will be trained to document with in Epic. Duties would include weeknight, weekend and holiday call coverage.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Active faith community or chaplaincy experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Theological education from a CHEA Member organization, accredited college/university which fulfills education requirements for Board Certification in Chaplaincy (BCC) from the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or similar national certification is required.
1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE, NACC or its equivalent is preferred.
Masters of divinity is preferred.
