DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Provides pastoral/spiritual care to patients, families, visitors and staff. Responsible for crisis ministry/intervention, bereavement services, and sacramental needs of patients. SUPERVISION: Reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Is knowledgeable of and actively participates with implementation of policies and guidelines in the department. Actively participates in the department/hospital cost saving and productivity initiatives. Attends required departmental meetings. Complies with departmental infection prevention and control policies. Dress and general appearance meets department policy. Protects patient information and maintains confidentiality.
