The accountant will oversee the daily accounting operations and overall financial management of the company.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of accounting operations, making sure company objectives are achieved by developing and creating accounting policies and procedures through strategic planning and review
- Perform audits, identify trends, and determine system improvements and implement changes
- Create sound recommendations regarding accounting issues and concerns based on existing policies and secure approval on special circumstances
- Meet accounting objectives through monitoring of budget vs. expenditures; analyze variances to ensure proper actions are taken
- Prepare financial reports for monitoring of revenue and expenses; coordinate collection; consolidate and evaluate financial data and prepare relevant reports for management
- Maintain company financial security by establishing internal controls
