**Description:**

**POSITION PURPOSE:**

+ To provide non-clinical support to individuals in the community.
+ A member of the Community Treatment Team that provides community-based services to adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**

+ Will provide non-clinical support to individuals in the community.
+ As a **Certified Peer Specialist (CPS)** , you are first and foremost a peer – meaning that you have lived experience with mental illness and/or addition – and can serve as a role model for recovery values and principles, providing hopeful information about recovery and wellness.
+ Will provide stage wise treatment interventions based on the consumer’s stage of change.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

+ Must self-identify as an individual with a serious mental illness, who is currently or formerly was a recipient of mental health services, ...
