Construction Engineering And Inspection

CDM Smith's Construction Engineering and Inspection team is seeking a candidate that will inspect and monitor construction activities at various field site locations in Maitland, FL. Inspection activities are primarily routine and standardized. Candidate will work under direct supervision from higher level inspectors and engineers. Work requires knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in highway construction; knowledge of geometry and basic mathematics; ability to read, interpret and explain construction plans and drawings, contract provisions, and specifications; and communications ability.

Primary Responsibilities will be:

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials, and all issues concerning the construction of a project under direct supervision.
