The CSUVetCE team operates within the state-of-the-art continuing education (CE)facilities of Colorado State University's Translational Medicine Institute (CSU-TMI).We believe that people, animals and the planet can be improved when inspired learners, engaged educators and meaningful learning experiences collide; We host approximately 100 courses each year on approximately 200 calendar days including a wide variety of training courses for veterinarians and veterinary technicians on the care of small animal, equine and other species. We also do a small amount of human continuing medical education and that sector may grow in the future. We often operate on a 7-day work week in which the workload is divided into daily shifts amongst our team members. Responsibilities for CE lab operations will be divided between CELab Course Coordinators, CE Lab Assistants (this position) and student hourly employees and volunteers.
