Responsibilities

• Manage drilling operations on mining projects, underground and surface exploration, at many levels including manpower, assets, drilling equipment and customer relationship.
• Lead crew to always perform at a high-quality by executing tasks effectively in a manner that will not endanger self or others or the environment.
• Communicate to employees the importance of performing assigned duties following all applicable legislation, company policies and safe work procedures.
• Supervise activities in a safe, productive, and cost-efficient way.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept in order while maintaining efficient drilling productivity.
• Contribute by teaching and demonstrating commitment to controlling risks and eliminating hazards.
• Address all inquiries from clients regarding the day-to-day activities of the operations but only in accordance with directives from management.
