Job Description
We are looking for a Material Developer – Footwear to identify and select suppliers of products, components, materials, and services from a limited supplier panel, and to contribute to contract negotiations in line with a budget framework and purchasing policy defined by the manager.
Key Responsibilities – Purchasing & Sourcing
Co‑define and deploy the purchasing strategy for the assigned market(s).Develop an in‑depth understanding of external markets (players, costs, trends) in order to propose new internal solutions (concepts, processes, technologies, innovation).Select and manage suppliers within the assigned scope, ensuring quality, cost, lead time, development capabilities, and service level.Participate in internal and external negotiations; formalize and contractually secure decisions.Assess supplier risks based on Group criteria (financial, revenue impact, CSR, geopolitical context, legal, etc.).
