A vacancy exists for a Catering assistant at Life Wilgers Hospital reporting to the Catering Manager.

Critical Outputs

Preparation of therapeutic diets

Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area

Preparation and clearing up of venues for all functions at hospital level and at the Life College of learning

Requirements

Catering Assistant must have a good general knowledge and experience of preparing meals for Therapeutic Diets in a Hospital environment

Minimum qualification – Grade 12

Candidate must have reliable transport

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Candidate must be able to work shifts and weekends
