The kitchen team take pride in the delivery of fresh and appetising food for both pupils and staff, and work to high standards following Health and Safety protocols at all times. Working hours are 10 hours per week (12 noon to 2pm) term time only + 5 Staff Development Days + 5 cleaning days. Equipment, training and induction will be provided and a Level 2 qualification in Food Safety is preferred. 
 
Abbey Court caters for pupils aged 3-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties, and is currently located on 2 Strood sites; Nursery, Primary and secondary (Cliffe Road) and Further Education (Rede Court Road). Facilities include an on-site school farm.
