We are looking for a Category Manager to report to the Merchandise Manager for the Smallgoods & Deli Salads portfolio. This full‑time permanent role offers an opportunity to grow within the Buying and Merchandising team and to lead strategies that enhance our customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation with vendors to develop or procure products, managing buying and merchandising processes.
• Maintain awareness of product trends, availability, and customer preferences.
• Analyze buying and selling patterns, providing insights for planning and activity optimisation.
• Partner cross‑functionally to streamline product lifecycles, resolve vendor friction, and ensure optimal stock availability.
• Lead and scale a high‑performing team through active coaching, goal setting, and cultural leadership.
• Develop long‑term plans and recommend strategy changes for the product/category.
