We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Buyer – Raw Materials to join our Procurement team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing different categories, ensuring the highest quality and cost‑efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide data and insight to Category Managers for strategy development (e.g., supplier performance trends, recurring issues, market analyses).
• Draft budget and support the Category Manager in its development.
• Lead supplier homologation, performance evaluation and KPI monitoring.
• Participate in supplier segmentation and risk assessment input.
• Ensure all procurement activities and business needs comply with category strategies and policies.
• Lead execution of local tenders (RFXs), negotiate with local suppliers and contracts, including ESG clauses when needed, to drive the Sustainability strategy.
