  Hours (as and when required) 
  Based at one of our Swimming Pools across the district 
  Essential – ASA level 2 Swim Teaching Qualification or STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming 
  Desirable – National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, any other relevant teachers qualification 
  Prime objectives of the post: 
 
 To provide swimming teacher cover when needed at various facilities across the district. This could be for planned holidays or last-minute sickness. 
 To provide quality swimming lessons for pupils with wide range of abilities including School swimming lessons and Swim school swimming lessons (evenings and weekends)
 To ensure a safe environment for all users of the service
