ROLE PURPOSE

The Cook is responsible for food preparation, finishing and serving of meals, maintaining clean and orderly working areas, participating in the development of menu plans, and assisting with inventory control and ordering of supplies.

REPORTING AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports and is accountable to the Kitchen Coordinator of the facility or their designate

Participates actively in house, staff, and staff/resident meetings

Participates as a member of the Connective staff team

Liaises with outside professionals from other agencies or government bodies as required

HOURS

This role will cover absences for the permanent kitchen staff. Hours will be minimal and varied.

Typical Shift Hours:

0930 - 1730
