• Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register or POS system.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash, credit card, and electronic payments, ensuring accurate change and receipt issuance.
• Maintain Store Order: Keep the checkout area clean and organized, restock items as needed, and assist in inventory management during off-peak hours.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers, team members, and management.
• Attention to Detail: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and ensure proper change is given.
• Basic Math and Computer Skills: Comfort with using POS systems, handling cash, and performing simple arithmetic for transactions.
