Job Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the caseworker provides support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, developing and implementing case management strategies, making referrals, supervising supportive services, and maintaining client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a caseload.
• Complete intake and assessment for each resident.
• Provide problem‑solving and referral counseling to shelter residents.
• Build a network and refer clients to community services and Salvation Army resources.
• Offer evening coffee and snack; clean area upon completion.
