The Position:

The successful candidate will work within two programs.

The YSS team work with young people aged 10-18 who are at risk of entering the youth justice system with the objective of diverting them away from this system and working with them to achieve better life outcomes.

YJCSS is an intensive voluntary support service that works alongside Youth Justice. Our shared support of young people aims at the successful completion of statutory orders but also aim to develop protective factors for young people to give them every opportunity to thrive.

You will:

Work with young people who are at risk of entering the statutory youth justice system through first contact with Victoria police or young people that are under Youth Justice supervision.

Use a strength and client-based approach that aims to empower young people and their families to achieve short- and long-term goals that divert them from the justice system....
