University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work as a Care Group Pharmacist for Women & Newborn. The role is within Women & Newborn Care Group, part of Division C (Family Health & Support Services). The pharmacist will work closely with the Lead Neonatal Pharmacist, Divisional Lead Pharmacist, a Band 7 Women’s Health Pharmacist and rotational colleagues to shape and elevate the clinical pharmacy service across Women’s Health, Maternity, Foetal Medicine and Neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Develop evidence‑based treatment guidelines alongside specialist consultants
• Strengthen interface working with primary care and community partners
• Review and enhance maternity PGDs
• Oversee high‑cost and specialist medicines, including homecare and outpatient pathways
