Companionshipand recreational activities: Chit chat and provide a listening ear to clients. Engage in recreational activities enjoyed by clients e.g. reading the newspaper, playing musical instruments, singing, playing simple card or board games etc.
Medical escort: Assist the senior with walking and boarding the transport vehicle and provide support during medical visits at the clinic/hospital premises.
Errands, grocery shopping and light cooking: Run errands or do grocery shopping with/without the client at markets/shops to buy food, and prepare simple home-cooked meals.
Transferring and positioning: Assist with transferring client from bed to commode, or wheelchair, or chair and back.
Simple exercises: Conduct simple exercises with the client to maintain their strength and muscle mass.
