Care Assistant – Middlesbrough. The role involves supporting a female Service User with complex clinical needs, including seropositive rheumatoid arthritis and a tracheostomy, in her home. Full clinical training will be provided.

Pay: £13.50‑£14.50 per hour. Shifts: 05:00‑19:00 or 08:00‑15:00 (2 days, total 21 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑standards tracheostomy care, including suctioning and management.
• Support mobilisation using two walking sticks indoors and a manual wheelchair in the community.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding while monitoring for aspiration risk.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and skin integrity.
• Offer companionship and support social needs, such as enjoying audiobooks or walks by the seafront.
