**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

At minimum, the Level I Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all routine scheduled diagnostic and interventional, and emergent adult procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording during cardiovascular and peripheral procedures.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Program; or 2 years of Interventional Cardiac Catheterization lab experience; or Graduate of an approved RT Program
