Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Work Dates Needed: As soon as credentialed
- Preferred Schedule: 7 on 7 off
- Worksite Setting: Hospital/clinic
- Scope of Work: ICU rounding & coverage, Collaborates with Cardiothoracic Surgeons in overseeing and coordinating the multidisciplinary care delivered to all cardiothoracic patients, inpatient and outpatient, to optimize quality patient care.
Provides operating room coverage including first assist, endoscopic vein harvest, and radial artery harvest.
Performs ICU rounding and coverage.
Performs floor rounding, consults, and discharges.
Provides office/clinic coverage for preoperative consults and postoperative follow-ups.
Provides primary care to all cardiothoracic patients including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and development of treatment plan. - Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BLS, ACLS
- EMR: EPIC
- Pay Rate Preferred: $120 - 130/hour
