Work Shift: 40 hrs. per week M-F 8:00AM -5:00PM

Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - UHealth Plantation, Plantation, FL

• Searches for abnormalities in blood flow sounds, heart rhythm, oxygen saturation, and the appearance of the heart.

• Positions patients and explains procedures. Performs quality control functions.

• Evaluates ultrasounds for diagnostic quality. Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques.

• Develops ultrasound film and matches it with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
