Job overview
We are seeking to recruit an experienced CAMH/CMHS practitioner to join the Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service (THEWS). 

THEWS is a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) established following the government Green Paper: Transforming Children & Young People’s Mental Health Provision. The service has undergone recent expansion. 

The three core functions of a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are:
Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people (CYP) with mild-to-moderate mental health problems.

Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce, develop and deliver the whole school/college approach.

Giving timely advice to school and college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help CYP to get the right support and stay in education.
