Description

Job Summary The Level 2 Cable Technician is an intermediate‑level technician responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting copper and fiber‑optic cabling systems in commercial, industrial, and data center environments. This role requires strong hands‑on fiber expertise, the ability to work independently, and adherence to industry standards, safety practices, and project documentation requirements. Key Responsibilities Copper & Fiber Cabling Installation Install, route, secure, and label structured cabling systems including: Copper: Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A Fiber: Single‑mode (OS2) and Multi‑mode (OM3/OM4) Perform fiber termination using mechanical, fusion splice, and pre‑terminated solutions Install and dress fiber enclosures, splice trays, patch panels, cassettes, and LIUs Build out and cable equipment racks, cabinets, ladder racks, and pathway systems Maintain proper bend radius, cable management, and grounding standards Fiber Optic Testing & Tro...
