Leads the evaluation and approval process for system development projects, including but not limited to the preparation of business case, resource requirement estimation and project scheduling
Assumes overall responsibility and accountability for the execution of system development projects (effectively plays the role of Project Manager). Manages the evaluation, implementation and post implementation review and monitoring of projects and ascertains whether the projects have met their objectives
Coordinates and monitors business requirements specifications of business units with a view of streamlining work and improving operating efficiency, as well as achieving consistency in quality and quantity of outputs. Ensures that business requirements are properly and completely specified and communicated to information Technology Group (ITG) or third party software consultants when necessary
