Main Purpose of the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and increasing market share within the logistics sector
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities
- Conduct cold calling and develop new client pipelines
- Prepare quotations, tenders, RFQs and RFIs
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity
- Provide logistics consulting solutions to clients
- Develop and exchange sales leads globally
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (essential)
- 35 years experience in Logistics Sales
- Strong background in Freight Forwarding Sales
- Air Freight & Sea Freight experience (non-negotiable)
