School Health Aide

Responsible for delivering medically necessary personal care services to students with disabilities during transportation on specialized vehicles, in accordance with each student's Individual Education Program (IEP) as part of the district's School Health and Related Services (SHARS) program. Assist the bus driver with the care and safety of students and other authorized person being transported to and from school and school-related activities. Adhere to federal and state laws, as well as district policies, procedures, and regulations. Essential Functions Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that ensures the safety of students. Load and unload students according to individual needs; make frequent checks for safe and orderly transportation of passengers.
