We are seeking a reliable Building Services Assistant to join our Estates team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The role supports the day‑to‑day maintenance of the Trust’s buildings, helping to ensure a safe, compliant and well‑maintained environment for patients, staff and visitors.
 
You will carry out a range of routine maintenance duties including ventilation grille cleaning, minor plumbing, general building repairs, inspections and responding to Estates helpdesk requests. Working closely with Estates Technicians and supervisors, you will support planned and reactive maintenance across clinical and non‑clinical areas.
 
The ideal candidate will have practical maintenance experience, a strong focus on safety and compliance, good teamwork skills and the ability to use IT systems to record work.
