Our Commercial Building Inspectors work across a wide mix of building projects. While the role has a strong commercial focus, you’ll also gain exposure to residential work, giving you variety and a broader technical base.

Christchurch City Council has also been selected by MBIE as the preferred provider for the nationwide centralised consenting service for eligible grocery developments. This means our commercial team supports significant projects across New Zealand — not just Christchurch.
