Responsibilities

You will be part of our Watermelon breeding team based in Spain at the Almería station. The main goal is to develop Watermelon varieties for many different market segments worldwide in close contact with the market specialists present in different parts of the world. As Breeder Watermelon you will work on new traits, innovation concepts, disease resistances and fruit quality traits. In addition, you are involved in:

• Planning and execution of crosses.
• Designing and evaluating variety trials around the world in our stations and with clients.
