Job Qualifications

Certification Requirements


+ NYS Coaching Certification or NYS Physical Education

+ NYSED approved Certification in CPR/AED & First Aid


(Applicants need not be certified at time of application but must be certified by beginning of season and before being appointed by BOE.)

Qualifications


+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Knowledge of specific sport

+ Understanding of adolescent development

+ Ability to articulate the vision and mission of the program

+ Sets high expectations for self and student athletes
