Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for our team in Portland, Maine. This role is ideal for someone who can manage core accounting activities with accuracy, maintain organized records, and help ensure timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with payables, receivables, and account balancing while working confidently in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:
• Record and maintain financial transactions accurately within QuickBooks and related accounting records.
• Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and monitor accounts payable activity to keep obligations current.
• Issue customer invoices, apply incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy cash flow.
