Job Summary This employee will be responsible for conducting educational programs for K-12 students and the general public at the Marine Resources Center, in the ACE Basin and at other Department facilities. Job Duties Conducting educational field trips for K-12 students to provide accurate and up-to-date information that enhances knowledge and awareness of natural resources issues and the SCDNR mission. Serving as a deckhand on board the Education Vessel Discovery. Coordinating stewardship-based projects with students and teachers. Assisting with the preparation of informational and educational material. Assisting with the planning and implementation of teacher trainings and workshops that focus on increasing use of estuary and marine science information and data in the classroom.
