Oversee engineering systems for high-containment laboratories, including HVAC, effluent decontamination, and laboratory gas and water systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and collaborate with the Biosafety Manager to meet safety and containment requirements. Manage planned preventive and corrective maintenance, performance testing, and ensure integrity of critical systems such as emergency power and fire suppression. Act as the first responder for engineering issues impacting biocontainment systems coordinate responses to alarms and liaise with vendors and internal teams.
