**POSITION SUMMARY:** With direct supervision, the Billing Assistant performs a variety of routine billing and data entry functions. The incumbent is responsible for the timely and accurate entry of new and updated customer contracts into the Company’s systems. The Billing Assistant properly prepares accurate and timely bills to customers based on service contract terms.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Enters new and updated customer contracts into system and updates existing customer contracts as needed.
+ Compares data entered to source documentation for accuracy and completeness.
+ Scans source documents as PDFs into the document storage system.
+ Ensures accurate and complete data is entered appropriately, makes corrections when needed.
+ May gather and summarize supplemental billing information to accommodate customer billing requirements.
