Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the estimating department by managing bid documents, developing proposals, and sourcing vendors and subcontractors during both bid and post-award phases. You will prepare and review confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations, ensuring high-quality written output. As a small business liaison, you will ensure compliance with small business requirements, write subcontracting plans, release solicitations, and conduct negotiations. Additionally, you will manage the executive's calendar, organize meetings, and handle facility bookings and catering. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a bid/estimating role is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality are also required.
