Position Summary
The Benefits Specialist will work in conjunction with the Benefits Account Managers and agency staff to manage the day-to-day needs of our clients in an administrative capacity. This position interacts daily with the Benefits Account Managers and agency staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and weekly 401K deferral setup within HRIS system.
- Audits 401K reports to ensure accuracy prior submission in 401K carrier sites.
- Update employee 401(k) contributions as the reports are generated.
- Investigate and correct 401K errors.
- Support benefits-related projects and process improvements.
- Approve benefit enrollments.
- Enroll/term benefits with the various carriers.
- Process adds, terms and QLEs for benefit plan elections.
- Special benefits projects as needed.
- Duties as otherwise assigned.
