**Devereux has an exciting opportunity to become a Behavioral Health Technician with our Pocono Center.**
**This is an Independent Contractor position.**
**The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)** is responsible for the implementation of behavioral intervention plans which are individualized to each child or adolescent, and to family needs. Services are not a substitution for primary care giver They cannot baby sit, diaper, toilet, or transport our child. The BHT does not work alone with the child, but must be in the presence of the parent, teacher or primary care giver. Devereux Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults and children with developmental disabilities. This position is responsible for supporting children in the community as a part of our IBHS services.
