Position Overview

The Back Engineer is primarily responsible for providing development, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of the current web portal, and the development of new features for the portal. The role requires developing high‑quality software with React JS and .NET, meeting functional requirements and architectural direction of the senior team.

Location

The chosen individuals will work out of the Contour Software Lahore/Islamabad resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Developing new features using .NET and enhancing existing ones using .NET framework
• Translating designs and wireframes into high‑quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web‑capable devices and browsers
• Write clean, scalable, and secure code
• Author unit tests, ensuring acceptable code coverage
