GIC is looking for an AVP/VP to join their Direct Investments Group with a focus on Japan. This role is based in Singapore and involves evaluating and executing private equity investments. The ideal candidate will have experience in deal execution and a strong interest in the Japanese market. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that works on impactful investments.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate private investments in minority equity, growth capital, and buyouts
• Assist in reviewing and executing attractive investment opportunities
• Involve in due diligence processes, pricing, and deal structuring
• Attend board meetings and interact with management regularly
• Work on ongoing strategic initiatives in portfolio companies
• Be part of special projects within the firm as assigned

What You Need

• Good academic qualifications with at least 2-3 years of work experience in a top-tier investment bank or PE fund
