Responsibilities

• Carry out body restoration on vintage and classic vehicles, including:
• Metal shaping, rust repairs, welding, and panel fabrication.
• Body alignment, panel fitting, and finishing to original specifications.
• Preparing surfaces for paint, including sanding and priming.
• Collaborate with painters, trimmers, and mechanics to achieve complete restorations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and uphold workshop quality standards.
• Care for and respect historically significant vehicles.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Automotive Body Repair / Panel Beating (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in classic or vintage vehicle restoration (bodywork focus essential).
• Strong welding, fabrication, and metal finishing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and restoration plans.
