Automation Engineer

On behalf of our customer Bergen Engines we are looking for a highly skilled engineer specialized in automation and cybernetics. In this role, you will work with everything from simple control functions to advanced multi-variable controllers, with a strong focus on thermal machinery and physical principles.

Key Tasks

• Define control and safety functions, ranging from simple threshold functions to advanced multi-variable controllers.
• Develop and maintain standard software.
• Drive component selection, sizing, and verification through simulations and physical testing based on fundamental physical principles.
• Prepare documentation packages, including wiring diagrams, layouts, flow charts, alarm lists, test procedures, and user instructions.
