Provides athletic training services in the interscholastic, intercollegiate, elite amateur, professional and recreational setting including event coverage. Participates in outreach activities as a representative of Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research. Delivers treatment and clinical care to patients under the supervision of the physician in accordance with quality standards of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Division of Sports Medicine. Provides athletic training services to athletes to include evaluation, treatment, management of injuries,, and injury prevention strategies. Works independently to provide emergent care of injuries and make decisions for proper medical referral as indicated.
