JOB DESCRIPTION:The Athletic Trainer specializes in the health care of athletes. The trainer plays a unique role in preventing, recognizing, managing, rehabilitating and educating the athlete/family in sports injuries. Athletic Trainers play a role in planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principals and practices of athletic training. In the occupational health clinic, the athletic trainer performs testing as part of pre-employment, post-accident and annual testing.Athletic trainer will be trained to perform strength testing for post offer purposes, Breath Alcohol, Drug Screen collections, audiometer, respirator fit testing and spirometry testing.The athletic trainer will assist in the flow of the clinic by greeting customers, answering phones, communicating with patients and employers.Certified and perform urine collection and breath alcohol testing for both DOT and NON DOT standards..Will be knowledgeable of the post offer ...
