**Job Summary and Qualifications**

The Head Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) is an ancillary health care provider and principle member of the sports medicine team. Exercises leadership responsibilities through the delivery of a comprehensive athletic health care program for 2+ school districts (2+ high schools and 2+ middle schools) by obtaining clinical outcomes and organizational objectives consistent with the objectives for the Department as set forth by Leadership. Clinical responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, and therapeutic intervention of emergent, acute, and chronic athletic injuries and illnesses and making return-to-play decisions.
